Our Mission

Alabamians for Academic Excellence and Integrity (AAEI) is a nonpartisan organization advocating for education rooted in the classical Western tradition, and the purposes which undergird classical education including pursuing truth, preserving and enriching the culture, developing good character and citizenship and ensuring graduates are prepared to succeed in their chosen vocations.

Our Goals

• To increase public awareness of the nature and importance of classical Western education
• To provide citizens with opportunities to advocate for classical education on the local and state levels
• To support programs and events that reflect the purposes of classical education

Our Purpose

AAEI is dedicated to the belief that all Alabama educational institutions should be held accountable for upholding the principles and purposes of classical Western education. The issue of admitting “Critical Race Theory” in our K-12 schools is a symptom of what has been ailing higher education for decades. Our institutions are now stagnating under a philosophy focused on “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” inimical to America’s commitment to freedom, liberty, rule of law, personal responsibility, civil discourse, along with teaching and scholarship free of political agendas.
